Standard Longhaired

Rami shone like a stretched arrow of amber in the sun. All too perfectly too, considering his name is an arabic word meaning archer. The word also means loving, which couldn’t have been closer to the truth. Dachshunds are such an affectionate breed. Though often quite vocal and, at times, protective, they are equally known for nestling into warm laps for hours on end. I was lucky enough to be on the receiving end of a very long cuddle. Yes, pun intended.
