Shelby was a professional. Familiar with bright lights and studio sets, she was an actress of many roles. I loved catching this small moment. Her facial expression slightly perturbed-- though she was too kind to ever say so-- as if she knew a thing or two more than we did about getting the shot. She probably did, too. What I would give to glean even just a moment of insight from the patient dogs that watch us humans scurry around in this thing we call life.
